1. Our trade policy
1.1 Altex offers products for sale on Altex.it and carries out its e-commerce business exclusively towards its end users, who are "consumers".
1.2 When we refer to "consumer," we mean any natural person acting on Altex.it for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession. If you are not a "consumer," please refrain from purchasing products through Altex.it.
1.3 In consideration of its commercial policy, Altex reserves the right not to process orders from persons other than the "consumer" or in any case orders that do not comply with its commercial policy.
1.4 These General Conditions of Sale exclusively regulate the offer, forwarding and acceptance of purchase orders for products on Altex.it between Altex users.
1.5 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale do not regulate the provision of services or the sale of products by parties other than Altex that are present on Altex.it through links, banners, or other hypertext links. We recommend that you check their terms and conditions before placing orders and purchasing products and services from parties other than Altex. Altex is not responsible for the provision of services by third parties or for the execution of e-commerce transactions between users of Altex.it and third parties.
2. How to conclude the contract with ALTEX
2.1 To conclude the purchase contract for one or more products on Altex.it, you must complete the order form in electronic format and send it to Altex electronically, following the relevant instructions.
2.2 Before purchasing products by submitting the order form, you will be asked to carefully read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Notice on the Right of Withdrawal, to print a copy using the print button, and to save or reproduce a copy for your own personal use. We will also provide you with a summary of the commercial and contractual conditions we offer for the purchase of products, which contains a link to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and a summary of information on the essential characteristics of each product ordered, including the price (including all applicable taxes or duties), the payment methods you can use to purchase each product, the delivery methods for the purchased products, the seller's complaint handling procedures, and shipping and delivery costs. Altex's contact information, geographic address, and email address are also provided, along with the date by which Altex undertakes to deliver the goods. Altex will also provide you with a summary of the terms and conditions for exercising your right of withdrawal, as set forth in Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005 (the "Consumer Code"). If applicable to your purchase, you will be informed that, in the event of withdrawal, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the products. In any case, you will be reminded of the legal guarantee of conformity of the products and provided with the contact details of our after-sales service.
2.3 In the order form, displayed immediately before the purchase contract is concluded, we will provide you with summary information regarding the essential characteristics of each product ordered, the price (including all applicable taxes or duties), and shipping costs (where applicable). The contract is concluded when Altex receives your order form electronically, after verifying the accuracy of your order data.
2.4 The order form will be stored in our database for the time necessary to process the order and in any case as required by law. You can access your order form by consulting the My Order section.
2.5 When submitting the order form, you will be notified that submitting it implies the obligation to pay the indicated price. Before submitting the order form, you will also be asked to identify and correct any data entry errors.
2.6 The languages available for concluding the contract with Altex are Italian, English and French.
2.7 Once the contract has been concluded, ALTEX will process your purchase order.
2.8 Altex may not process your purchase orders that do not provide sufficient guarantees of solvency or that are incomplete or incorrect, or in the event of product unavailability.
In these cases, we will inform you by email that the contract has not been concluded and that Altex has not processed your purchase order, specifying the reasons.
If the products displayed on Altex.it are no longer available or on sale at the time of your last access to the site or when you submit your order form, we will notify you promptly and in any case within thirty (30) days from the day after you submit your order, of the unavailability of the products ordered. If you submit your order form and pay the price, Altex will refund, without undue delay, the amount already paid by you and the contract will be deemed terminated between the parties.
2.9 By electronically submitting the order form, you unconditionally accept and undertake to comply with these General Conditions of Sale in your dealings with Altex. If you do not agree with any of the terms set forth in the General Conditions of Sale, please do not submit the order form for the purchase of products on Altex.it.
2.10 By submitting the order form, you confirm that you know and accept the General Conditions of Sale and the additional information contained on Altex.it, including those accessed via links, including the General Conditions of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Information on the right of withdrawal.
2.11 Once the contract has been concluded, Altex will send you a receipt of the purchase order by email.
2.12 We remind you that the product you purchase is intended exclusively for the country in which you place the order; therefore, if you decide to export the product to a different country, you are responsible for the export and must follow the applicable regulations and restrictions both for export from the country in which you purchased the item and for import into the country to which you intend to export it. ALTEX hereby declines any responsibility in this regard.
3. Guarantees and indication of product prices
3.1 Altex.it offers for sale only top-quality Altex-branded shoes, produced by leather goods factories and manufacturing companies carefully selected for their quality levels.
3.2 Altex does not sell used, defective, or substandard products. In the description of each model, ALTEX will specify the storage conditions of the item if they differ from market standards.
3.3 The essential product characteristics are presented on Altex.it within each product page. The images and colors of the products offered for sale on Altex.it may, however, differ from the actual colors due to the Internet browser and monitor used.
3.4 Product prices may be subject to change. Please check the final price before submitting your order form.
3.5 Purchase requests from countries not included in our shipping list at the time of checkout cannot be accepted by Altex.
3.6 All products come with an identification tag secured with a disposable seal. We ask that you do not remove the tag and the seal from the purchased products, of which they are an integral part.
3.7 Pursuant to Article 57, paragraph II, of the Consumer Code, you will be responsible for any diminished value of products purchased on Altex.it resulting from use of the products other than that necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Therefore, if you exercise your right of withdrawal, Altex reserves the right to refuse the return or not fully refund the purchase price for products that are missing the relevant tag, have been altered from their essential and qualitative characteristics, or have been damaged, as further clarified in paragraph 8.10.
4. Payments
4.1 To pay for the products and any related shipping and delivery costs, you may follow the methods indicated on the order form. Under no circumstances will you be charged costs exceeding those actually incurred by Altex, in relation to the payment method you have chosen.
4.2 If you pay by credit card, your financial information (for example, your credit/debit card number or expiration date) will be forwarded, via encrypted protocol, to our partners who provide the relevant remote electronic payment services, without third parties having any access to it. Furthermore, this information will never be used by Altex except to complete the procedures relating to your purchase and to issue refunds in the event of product returns, following the exercise of your right of withdrawal, or when necessary to prevent or report fraud on Altex.it to the police. The price for the purchase of the products and shipping and delivery costs, as indicated on the order form, will be charged to your current account when the order is placed.
5. Discount Code
5.1 Discount Codes are personalized codes, also called Discount Codes, which allow you to benefit from a discount on purchases made on Altex.it.
5.2 The Discount Code box appears on the first page of the checkout process: once you have added the items to your cart, enter your code in the Discount Code box. Discount codes may be applicable, based on our commercial choices, to one or more orders. In any case, we will inform you of these in our marketing communications.
5.3 Limitations on the use of the Discount Code:
a.The Discount Code can be used only once, unless otherwise indicated, and except in the event of withdrawal (as indicated in point 5.4);
b. The Discount Code cannot be converted into cash in any way;
c.It will not be possible to use more than one Discount Code in the same order;
d. The Discount Code will apply to items in some collections or will it be applicable to all collections on the Altex.it website. In any case, we will take care to inform you in detail in our commercial communications.
5.4 If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal provided for by Article 52 of the Consumer Code and return an item to which you have applied the Discount Code, you must follow the standard return procedure available in the Returns section. Once your return has been accepted, the corresponding code will be reactivated at its original value. The difference in cost you incurred for the item will be refunded to you according to the methods and terms established for the standard refund procedure.
6. Shipping and delivery of products
6.1 To learn about the specific shipping and delivery methods for products, please visit the Shipping section. Please pay close attention to the information provided in this section, as the information contained therein forms an integral and substantial part of these General Conditions of Sale and, therefore, is deemed to be fully understood and accepted by you upon submission of the order form.

8. Right of withdrawal pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code
8.1 Pursuant to art. 52 of the Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from the contract concluded with Altex, without penalty and without specifying the reason, within fourteen (14) days from the day of receipt of the products purchased on Altex.it. In some specific cases, duly reported in the Right of Withdrawal section, it will be possible to exchange the chosen item for another.
8.2 To withdraw from the contract, you may use one of the following methods, at your discretion, in accordance with Article 54 of the Consumer Code:
i) use of the Return Form (compliant with the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code, available in our Returns section) to be transmitted directly online through our Contact Us section on the Altex.it website;
ii) use of this form (compliant with the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code) to be completed and sent to AltexVia Via dell'Acqua Traversa 226/230 00135 Rome

8.3 Once you have exercised your right of withdrawal from the contract, you must return the products to Altex by handing them over to the courier for shipment within fourteen (14) days from when you communicated your decision to withdraw from the contract.
8.4 If your return request is made from countries within the European Union, you will not be responsible for any costs. If your return is from countries outside Europe, the only costs you will be responsible for are those for returning the purchased products, unless Altex expressly exempted you from these costs at the time of purchase.
8.5 If you choose a shipping method other than the one indicated by Altex in the Returns section, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs for the purchased products. In this case, pursuant to Article 56 of the Consumer Code, you will also be refunded an amount equivalent to the standard shipping cost of the purchased products. Any additional costs incurred by you for choosing a different and/or faster shipping method than the standard one will not be refunded. In this case, you may remain responsible for any loss or damage to the products during transport due to your negligent choice of carrier and/or shipping method.
8.6 The Right of Withdrawal - in addition to compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, described in the previous points 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4 - is deemed to have been correctly exercised if the following conditions are also fully met:
a. the Return Form sent directly online through the Altex.it website, this form or other explicit declaration of your decision to withdraw from the contract must be correctly completed and sent to Altex within fourteen (14) days of receiving the products;
the products must not have been used or washed;
c. the identification tag must still be attached to the products with the disposable seal, which forms an integral part of the goods;
products must be returned in their packaging;
and the returned products must be delivered to the carrier within fourteen (14) days from when you communicated to Altex your decision to withdraw from the contract;
The products must not be damaged.
8.8 If the Right of Withdrawal is exercised following the methods and terms indicated in this paragraph 8, Altex will refund any sums already collected for the purchase of the products according to the methods and terms established.
8.9 The sums will be refunded to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days from the date on which Altex became aware of the exercise of your right of withdrawal. We will activate the refund procedures, once the correct execution of the terms and conditions indicated above has been verified, as indicated in paragraph 9.
8.10 If the terms and conditions for exercising your right of withdrawal, as set out in letters a), e), and f) of the previous paragraph, are not complied with, you will not be entitled to a refund of the amounts already paid to Altex. Within 14 days of receiving the email notifying you of the non-acceptance of your return, you may choose to receive the products back, at your own expense, in the condition in which they were returned to Altex, by notifying us according to the methods communicated to you. Otherwise, Altex may retain the products, in addition to the amounts already paid for their purchase.
If the conditions set forth in letters b), c), and d) of the previous paragraph are not met, you will not be entitled to a full refund of the amounts already paid to Altex. You will be responsible for any diminished value of the returned products resulting from use other than that necessary to allow you to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products. In this case, a percentage ranging from 10 to 90 percent of the amounts you paid to Altex for the returned products will be deducted from the expected refund, as specifically communicated to you by Altex via email.
Within 14 days of receiving the email notifying you of the amount deducted from your refund, you may choose to have the products returned to you at your own expense, in the condition in which they were returned to Altex, by notifying us according to the methods you will be informed of. Otherwise, Altex may retain the products and an amount corresponding to the percentage deducted from your refund.
9. Refund times and methods
9.1 After the products are returned, Altex will carry out the necessary checks to ensure their conformity with the terms and conditions set forth in paragraph 8. If the checks are successful, Altex will send you, via email, confirmation of acceptance of the returned products and will process the refund. If the checks are unsuccessful, Altex will notify you, via email, of the detected decrease in value of the returned products resulting from your failure to comply with the conditions set forth in letters b), c), and d) of the previous paragraph 8.2. At the same time, Altex will also notify you of the amount that will be deducted from the sums you paid for the returned products and will process the partial refund; alternatively, you have the option of receiving the products back, at your own expense, in the condition in which they were returned to Altex, as set forth in the previous paragraph 8.10.
9.2 Whatever the payment method used by you, the refund, whether full or partial, is activated by Altex pursuant to art. 56, paragraph 1, of the Consumer Code, as quickly as possible and in any case within fourteen (14) days from the date on which Altex became aware of the exercise of your right of withdrawal, after verifying the correct execution of your right of withdrawal and checking the returned products.
9.3 Altex will issue the refund using the same payment method you used to purchase the returned products, unless you have expressly agreed with Altex to use a different payment method and provided that you do not incur any additional costs as a result of the refund. If the recipient of the products indicated on the order form is not the same as the person who made the payment for their purchase, the refund, in the event that you exercise your right of withdrawal, will be made by Altex to the person who made the payment.
9.4 We remind you that the value date of the refund is the same as the debit;
9.5 Altex uses DHL (http://www.dhl.com/) as its return shipping provider. You can return the products to Altex through DHL, using the pre-printed label included with the package containing the products, without having to pay the return shipping costs yourself (except for purchases from countries outside Europe). According to the terms and conditions established for exercising the right of withdrawal, this method allows Altex to directly pay the return shipping costs on your behalf, freeing you from any payment obligation to the shipping provider. Altex will deduct a flat rate from your refund for the return shipping costs (if the return is from countries outside Europe). This method also allows you to verify the location of each package at any time, freeing you from any liability in the event of loss or damage to the products during transport.
9.6 If you decide to use a carrier other than the one indicated by Altex to return the products, you will be responsible for the shipping costs, including liability in the event of loss or damage to the products.

11.2 We also ask you to read, if you have not already done so, our General Conditions of Use because they contain important information on how we process our users' personal data and on the security systems adopted.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution
12.1 The General Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law and in particular by the Consumer Code, Chapter I "Consumer rights in contracts", with specific reference to the legislation on distance contracts and by Legislative Decree no. 70 of 9 April 2003 on certain aspects concerning electronic commerce.
12.2 In the event of disputes between Altex and any end user arising from the General Conditions of Sale, Altex hereby guarantees, pursuant to Article 14 of Regulation 524/2013, full compliance with and acceptance of the RisolviOnline mediation service. RisolviOnline is an independent and institutional service provided by the Arbitration Chamber of the Milan Chamber of Commerce, which allows you to reach a satisfactory agreement, with the assistance of a neutral and competent mediator, in a friendly and secure manner, online. 13. Modification and updating

8. Right of withdrawal pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code
8.1 Pursuant to art. 52 of the Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from the contract concluded with Altex, without penalty and without specifying the reason, within fourteen (14) days from the day of receipt of the products purchased on Altex.it. In some specific cases, duly reported in the Right of Withdrawal section, it will be possible to exchange the chosen item for another.
8.2 To withdraw from the contract, you may use one of the following methods, at your discretion, in accordance with Article 54 of the Consumer Code:
i) use of the Return Form (compliant with the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code, available in our Returns section) to be transmitted directly online through our Contact Us section on the Altex.it website;
ii) use of this form (compliant with the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code) to be completed and sent to AltexVia Via dell'Acqua Traversa 226/230 00135 Rome

iii) use of this form (compliant with the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code) to be completed and sent by email to: contact@Altex.it
8.3 Once you have exercised your right of withdrawal from the contract, you must return the products to Altex by handing them over to the courier for shipment within fourteen (14) days from when you communicated your decision to withdraw from the contract.
8.4 If your return request is made from countries within the European Union, you will not be responsible for any costs. If your return is from countries outside Europe, the only costs you will be responsible for are those for returning the purchased products, unless Altex expressly exempted you from these costs at the time of purchase.
8.5 If you choose a shipping method other than the one indicated by Altex in the Returns section, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs for the purchased products. In this case, pursuant to Article 56 of the Consumer Code, you will also be refunded an amount equivalent to the standard shipping cost of the purchased products. Any additional costs incurred by you for choosing a different and/or faster shipping method than the standard one will not be refunded. In this case, you may remain responsible for any loss or damage to the products during transport due to your negligent choice of carrier and/or shipping method.
8.6 The Right of Withdrawal - in addition to compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, described in the previous points 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4 - is deemed to have been correctly exercised if the following conditions are also fully met:
a. the Return Form sent directly online through the Altex.it website, this form or other explicit declaration of your decision to withdraw from the contract must be correctly completed and sent to Altex within fourteen (14) days of receiving the products;
the products must not have been used or washed;
c. the identification tag must still be attached to the products with the disposable seal, which forms an integral part of the goods;
products must be returned in their packaging;
and the returned products must be delivered to the carrier within fourteen (14) days from when you communicated to Altex your decision to withdraw from the contract;
The products must not be damaged.
8.8 If the Right of Withdrawal is exercised following the methods and terms indicated in this paragraph 8, Altex will refund any sums already collected for the purchase of the products according to the methods and terms established.
8.9 The sums will be refunded to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days from the date on which Altex became aware of the exercise of your right of withdrawal. We will activate the refund procedures, once the correct execution of the terms and conditions indicated above has been verified, as indicated in paragraph 9.
8.10 If the terms and conditions for exercising your right of withdrawal, as set out in letters a), e), and f) of the previous paragraph, are not complied with, you will not be entitled to a refund of the amounts already paid to Altex. Within 14 days of receiving the email notifying you of the non-acceptance of your return, you may choose to receive the products back, at your own expense, in the condition in which they were returned to Altex, by notifying us according to the methods communicated to you. Otherwise, Altex may retain the products, in addition to the amounts already paid for their purchase.
If the conditions set forth in letters b), c), and d) of the previous paragraph are not met, you will not be entitled to a full refund of the amounts already paid to Altex. You will be responsible for any diminished value of the returned products resulting from use other than that necessary to allow you to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products. In this case, a percentage ranging from 10 to 90 percent of the amounts you paid to Altex for the returned products will be deducted from the expected refund, as specifically communicated to you by Altex via email.
Within 14 days of receiving the email notifying you of the amount deducted from your refund, you may choose to have the products returned to you at your own expense, in the condition in which they were returned to Altex, by notifying us according to the methods you will be informed of. Otherwise, Altex may retain the products and an amount corresponding to the percentage deducted from your refund.
9. Refund times and methods
9.1 After the products are returned, Altex will carry out the necessary checks to ensure their conformity with the terms and conditions set forth in paragraph 8. If the checks are successful, Altex will send you, via email, confirmation of acceptance of the returned products and will process the refund. If the checks are unsuccessful, Altex will notify you, via email, of the detected decrease in value of the returned products resulting from your failure to comply with the conditions set forth in letters b), c), and d) of the previous paragraph 8.2. At the same time, Altex will also notify you of the amount that will be deducted from the sums you paid for the returned products and will process the partial refund; alternatively, you have the option of receiving the products back, at your own expense, in the condition in which they were returned to Altex, as set forth in the previous paragraph 8.10.
9.2 Whatever the payment method used by you, the refund, whether full or partial, is activated by Altex pursuant to art. 56, paragraph 1, of the Consumer Code, as quickly as possible and in any case within fourteen (14) days from the date on which Altex became aware of the exercise of your right of withdrawal, after verifying the correct execution of your right of withdrawal and checking the returned products.
9.3 Altex will issue the refund using the same payment method you used to purchase the returned products, unless you have expressly agreed with Altex to use a different payment method and provided that you do not incur any additional costs as a result of the refund. If the recipient of the products indicated on the order form is not the same as the person who made the payment for their purchase, the refund, in the event that you exercise your right of withdrawal, will be made by Altex to the person who made the payment.
9.4 We remind you that the value date of the refund is the same as the debit;
9.5 Altex uses DHL (http://www.dhl.com/) as its return shipping provider. You can return the products to Altex through DHL, using the pre-printed label included with the package containing the products, without having to pay the return shipping costs yourself (except for purchases from countries outside Europe). According to the terms and conditions established for exercising the right of withdrawal, this method allows Altex to directly pay the return shipping costs on your behalf, freeing you from any payment obligation to the shipping provider. Altex will deduct a flat rate from your refund for the return shipping costs (if the return is from countries outside Europe). This method also allows you to verify the location of each package at any time, freeing you from any liability in the event of loss or damage to the products during transport.
9.6 If you decide to use a carrier other than the one indicated by Altex to return the products, you will be responsible for the shipping costs, including liability in the event of loss or damage to the products.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution
12.1 The General Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law and in particular by the Consumer Code, Chapter I "Consumer rights in contracts", with specific reference to the legislation on distance contracts and by Legislative Decree no. 70 of 9 April 2003 on certain aspects concerning electronic commerce.
12.2 In the event of disputes between Altex and any end user arising from the General Conditions of Sale, Altex hereby guarantees, pursuant to Article 14 of Regulation 524/2013, full compliance with and acceptance of the RisolviOnline mediation service. RisolviOnline is an independent and institutional service provided by the Arbitration Chamber of the Milan Chamber of Commerce, which allows you to reach a satisfactory agreement, with the assistance of a neutral and competent mediator, in a friendly and secure manner, online.
